The Cat With No Tail

Cat with no tail Isle of ManSevere cracking of several elevations required re-rendering prior to painting with Keim Universal Render and Keim glassfibre mesh.

The remaining elevations were treated for algae and surfaces were equalised with Keim Soldalit-Grob and then painted with Soldalit-ME mineral masonry paint- resulting in an exterior with a great clean look with impressive warranties.

The client was Heron & Brearley.

Several elevations had suffered form severe cracking within the render finishes.

The worst elevations were treated to a thincoat over-render using KEIM Universal Render incorporating KEIM glassfibre mesh – guaranteed not to crack.

The newly rendered elevations received 2 coats KEIM Soldalit-ME mineral paint; the remaining elevations were treated for algae with Keim algicid; prepared and painted with 1 coat Soldalit Grob to equalise the existing surfaces and then 2 coats Keim Soldalit-ME mineral masonry paint.
The chosen colours were matched to a Farrow & Ball palette range.

The main contractor is Venetian Plaster Company with decorating being provided by LM Construction.

The newly rendered elevations achieved a 20 year product warranty.
The remaining elevations achieved a minimum 10 year product warranty.
